Travelin Man by Tom Weschler and Gary Graff

Primeau Productions LLC has begun the Internet marketing campaign for the Bob Seger pictorial book by Tom Weschler and Gary Graff titled “Travelin’ Man”. It’s a book whose forward is written by John (Cougar) Mellencamp and afterword by Kid Rock and about being on the road and behind the scenes as one of America’s icons Bob Seger began his career.

On Sunday September 19th, 2010, Primeau Productions, Inc caught up with Tom Weschler at an old Royal Oak Michigan favorite, the Ye Olde Saloon to record a digital video interview for the upcoming video that will be promoting the book. In addition, Primeau Productions, Inc will be promoting Tom for an upcoming book promotional tour across the USA and Europe.

Weschler captures Seger’s personality on stage and at home and reveals the colorful personalities of all the people Bob worked and performed with.

Weschler at the last minute designed the cover that went to press:

Gary Graff is a Detroit legend and has been reviewing rock and roll for many years. His writing style compliment Tom’s pictures by telling the whole story as it should be told. Gary Graff is an award winning music journalist based in Detroit whose work appears regularly in numerous publications, including Billboard magazine, the New York Times Features Syndicate, UPI, the Oakland Press. Gary also reports on music news for WSCX in Detroit Michigan, WHQG in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and 106.7 in Columbus, Ohio.

Gary complements Tom by breathing life and historical vision into the pictures that Tom Weschler took while in the Seger camp from 1969 to 1977. The two met at a local radio station sponsored event where Tom was exhibiting his photographs. When Tom asked Gary what he thought of the captions, Gary commented that they sucked and he could do better. The rest is history.
